1. UWC image to be represented by members

UWC provides a high quality, innovative, and socially responsible education in an international environment, which produces well rounded students, who become successful in a wide range of occupations and, through personal action, create significant value for local communities and promote international understanding.

1. Membership terms

In order to be eligible, a prospective graduate member should usually be part of the UWC movement and have paid his/her respective membership fees for the fiscal year. In addition, he/she needs to meet one of the following requirements:

Be a resident or permanent resident of Hong Kong;

Spending or have spent a significant amount of time in Hong Kong during the current fiscal year;

Having strong affiliation or ties to Hong Kong

For active graduate members, eligibility for officer and board appoint will also entail active involvement in UWCGO sponsored events and a commitment to spend more than 60% of any fiscal year residing in Hong Kong.

1. Membership themes

To become a proactive and responsible member of the UWC alumni community in HK by contributing back to UWCGO and the colleges;

To create new educational opportunities for the less privileged through fundraising, and carry on the UWC legacy;

To develop/create/sponsor new initiatives and charity projects to promote UWC ideal, international understanding, educational/cultural exchanges, and any other social causes that may contribute good value to the community/society;

To re-establish and invigorate interaction with fellow UWC graduates and students, and foster closer personal and professional ties through the UWCGO alumni network and mentorship programs (to be established).

Note:

Your membership will be approved only after we confirm full receipt of membership dues within TWO weeks from your online registration.

Please notify us at uwcgo_events@yahoo.com after you complete the payment for timely approval of your membership.

UWCGO is not responsible for any bank transfer related service charges/fees.
